Then I asked what steps do I need to take to let it go and I pulled the 9 of Wands! Again, I got the sense of competition of these two on the rock. Even tho the meaning (according to the book) is all about collaboration and working as a team. Then, it hit me again, like someone else was telling me what this card means to me. You see I see the fox as being burdened by the bird. He is being weighed down not realizing if he would just move the bird would fly away and he would be free to leave the rock and the pouring rain.
I hate that I am the fox in this scenario but alas, I am. Too afraid to make a move when it comes to my spiritual practice has become my disability. Too, afraid I will say the wrong thing, too afraid I will piss someone off, too afraid to just do what I know is right has left me at a standstill. I still consider myself a newbie even though I bought my first deck more than a year ago and my spiritual awakening began almost two years ago. Even tho I have been told I give great readings and they are always accurate. I still find myself questioning every step I make. I am left standing in the rain asking myself, “what are you waiting for?”
Some cosmic sign? Some divine intervention where my guide or angel will pat me on the back and say, ” great job?”
These cards let me know once again, that I am standing in my own way here no one else. Am I afraid of success? Am I afraid of taking risks? These are the questions I ask myself daily. I keep saying I am open to this and yet, that small still voice remains silent. Or am I just way to in my head to hear them screaming, ” COME IN OUT OF THE RAIN!”
