WRITE A POST IN RESPONSE TO TODAY’S ONE – WORD PROMPT.

This has been a year of several moments of CLARITY for me! It has been almost 11 months since embarking on my journey of blogging. I started this with the hope of being discovered as a writer. One thought on my mind get my  name out there. What has happened still blows my mind! Instead of a journey of being discovered, I have been on a journey of self-discovery of sorts. I never dreamed that I could learn so much about myself. Even now writing this the clarity of my words ring true. I have been on a roller coaster of emotions, past ghosts I have forced myself to face, and in doing so I have finally found a measure of peace I have never felt before.

There are moments I want to curl up into a ball and just weep at the memories I have dredged up, and then there are bittersweet moments and happy ones. I have grown so much in the last 11 months that I am still amazed at the person I have found buried deep down inside that I thought was lost to me. It is a beautiful thing, that I can finally be free of everything and really concentrate on my future and how I want it to be. I have come a long way in the last year.

I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for me…
